A Haitian worker for a U.S.-based development foundation was found dead on May 15th, after being abducted on May 10th along with a British contractor. Authorities say the slain worker was driving the British national around Petionville, a suburb of Port-au-Prince when they were abducted; the British national was released four days after the kidnapping. It remains unclear if a ransom was paid for the release of the British hostage.
